Is it extremely dangerous not to vaccinate your children? How likely are they to catch the diseases they’re vaccinated for? Just a Mom who’s genuinely concerned no matter which route she takes.

Please no judgement. I’m a Mom who is just genuinely concerned about my LO having a vaccine reaction. Or if leaving him unvaccinated, he catches a disease I could’ve prevented and I’d never forgive myself for it. Can anyone offer any insight? I’ve been worrying about this for months and I can’t come to a decision without having a panic attack.

when I go and have my car looked at and the mechanic tells me what's wrong and how to fix it iisten. they went to school for that and I didn't. 
same goes for my doctor same goes for my child's doctor they went to school for it and I didn't. yes I can also look things up on the internet but I take my doctor's word first.

It’s dangerous enough that some pediatricians will refuse to see an unvaccinated child. It’s not entirely about YOUR child, it’s also about those with very weak immune systems who medically cannot receive vaccinations and your child spreading these diseases to them. Can’t imagine how awful I’d feel if another kid died of the measles because I let my kid run around unvaccinated.
Vaccination reactions are scary to think about but there are risks with literally everything we choose for ourselves and our babies.

All medical professionals advise to vaccinate and I hold their opinion over higher regard than my own, so there's that.

Vaccinations are important not just for your baby, but for others. Kids cant get the MMR vaccine until 12 months, and when people have decided to not vaccinate, babies are dying from measles because others didn't vaccinate when they should have. That's my thing. It's not just protecting your baby, but everyone else's too

My husband is in medical school and I previous held a job in genetic research. We both choose to vaccinate our children. From our research and education there is no reason to not have your child vaccinated. There is not one single piece of published work in the Academic Journal that supports not vaccinating children. (No scientific proof that vaccinations are bad) I cant remember the person who tried to publish work stating vaccinations were bad but he was stripped of his medical license and the paper he wrote was redacted.

Yes vaccinate! Vaccines only work when the majority of people are getting them. Not only could your child get a life threatening illness, but they could put other vulnerable populations at extreme risk also. Please vaccinate your kids!

For me, it simply isn't worth the risk. Yes, she may react to the shot bug she may become devistatinly ill or die without it. And my choice to not vaccinate puts other children at risk. It's just not worth it
