Could he like me?

We were texting and I asked him for his office address. So he responds are you mailing me something? And I said “yeah :)” then he gave me his address and he told me that his office sometimes reads the mail as a joke or not (he’s in the police industry so he might have been serious). Then I told him I would be pg-13 with his mail in case it was intercepted.. so he texted back “ Lol no nudes hahahaha” ——so that had me thinking could he like me? He was my supervisor during my summer placement and we’ve been friends so far .... so is this just a joke or not?
