Y’all I’m 16 weeks pregnant and we are going to Mt Fugi for a friends birthday tonight and I was wondering if it’s okay to eat California rolls if they’re freshly made?

I know I'll get some hate for this but, I've eaten sushi multiple times while pregnant. I don't eat it very often, maybe 4 times in the past 5 months and my baby is fine. I do try to avoid ahi tuna but I've definitely eaten it. I love sushi.

As long as They aren’t raw you’ll be ok... but even so, women in Japan don’t stop eating raw sushi... but that’s definitely more fresh.

California rolls are safe, they aren’t raw. Stick to cooked or veggie rolls and you’ll be fine
