HELP!!!

Ok so for 7 months I've been taking metformin and birth control however I stopped taking both meds the end of Sept (trying to find a more natural approach) anywho I've recently started having brownish-dark looking discharge for about 2 days, when I was taking my meds my cycle was like clock work last cycle was Sept 21-25th. Now fast forward until now I've been having the dark brownish discharge, me and my hubby baby dance this morning and all of last week, this morning I go for a check up and I didn't see my doc as he was out, so this other doctor told me to keep taking the metformin but no more control that was the end if the conversation I kept asking more questions but was brush off smh so I'm thinking of going to another place or something for more information and advise cause I need to know what's going with myself......any advise
