Difference between spotting and HEAVY bleeding?

These were from wiping, 2 minutes apart. Is it considered spotting or heavy bleeding? It’s slowing down now, but still there. Went to the doctors today and baby was active and heard the heartbeat. Doctor didn’t seem too concerned and said it could possibly be the beginning of a placenta previa, but likely will resolve on its own. Still so so scared. I go back to the doctors next week, but I’m full of anxiety and need to calm down. Anyone have positive outcome stories???

I wouldn't call that heavy bleeding or spotting its between the two. Sorry hun try not to stress if it gets more I'd go in ASAP. If she did an internal US that could have irritated you even more and cause u to bleed more. Good luck.

I don’t think I would consider that spotting. That’s quite a bit. I would just talk to your Dr again. Show these pictures if you need to.

I had bleeding like that during my pregnancy but mine was really red fron a cervical polyp and it was like clock work like a period. Now have a healthy 18mo yours is pinkish so dont worry and see the dr next week for your appt. I would relax on the couch with my feet up and drink lots of water to keep my anxiety down from it.
