Can implantation bleeding be red

I thought I was out. I might still be. But I thought I got my period. First day it was so light pink and brown second day more red but only used half a tampon and today barley anything and now it's done. My period is usually super heavy and I usually use 9 tampons in a day or 2 and have only used 3 in 2 days and only used half once or twice. Anyone ???
