Should I Start A Gofundme?

I need money to get my teeth fixed. I have a gap but over the years, the gap in my teeth have caused me to have a cross-bite. Now one side of teeth fall behind the other while the other side sticks out slightly in the front. Sometimes my teeth get stuck and it hurts so bad! It is slowly getting worse. 
I’m a SAHM and my husband is the only one working. I have to pay around $300 up front to start fixing my teeth. That is a lot for us to give up right now but I don’t know what else to do. Should I start a gofundme? I feel like I would be judged.

Nowadays people make gofundmes to buy weaves. So technically you CAN. However, the money you receive could be going to someone in real need. Fixing teeth is a luxury. What you can do is start saving a little bit of money each day. Make an account or get a jar and label it “Teeth funds” make it your goal to get it done.

Get a part time job then get “Care Credit”. You can make payments without interest.

Your teeth aren’t another person’s problem. Everyone has something they aren’t confident about but would you donate to a girl raising money to get a boob job?

Nope.  You should make a strict budget and save until you can pay the $300.
Not only is this not the sort of thing you ask other people to pay for, that sort of gofund me is not very likely to be successful.  There are far better ways you could spend your time and energy- like getting an online job or something. 
Crowdfund campaigns take a lot of planning and luck to be successful.

I mean you could, but most people are just gonna see it as you begging for money that you don't need because you don't want to work for it yourself. If the teeth gap is super important you could work part time, work from home(Betsy, babysitting), cut things out of your budget to save(skipping desserts at the store, cutting cable plan, giving up pop if you drink it), clean out your closets and sell anything in good condition that you don't want or need

Unless its causes you health issues I wouldnt put it as a need but rather as a want

Anyone can start one but doesn't mean people will donate... but also gofundme takes a percentage of what you raise too so even if people did donate doesn't mean you'll actually raise enough.
This is technically a vanity thing as well people don't tend to donate for that. I certainly wouldn't.

You can make a go fund me for whatever you want. However, you really don’t see many people donating to random people to fix teeth. If you have a large group of friends and family members that you think would contribute you can try.
