What were your levels at when you finally got pregnant?

Me and my husband have been trying for a baby for about 2 years now, I had gotten pregnant dec 2017 but sadly ended in a miscarriage, my doctor at the time couldn’t figure out why.. long story short I found a new doctor only to find out I had hypothyroidism my levels were at 16 when I started/found out in January, I’m now down to a 5.7 and more ready than ever to finally start trying again.. what levels were you when you finally conceived?

You usually need to be at least below 2.5 to get pregnant with hypothyroidism. That's also an upper limit during early pregnancy (3 in third trimester) given by American thyroid association. You should also get your free T4 levels and preferably also free T3 levels checked if not already done so. They should be in the middle of the range or slightly to the upper part if you have just levothyroxin as your medication. If your T4 levels are good but T3 is lowish, and you don't feel good on just levothyroxin you might want to look into adding liothyronine (synthetic T3) as well as some people are not able to convert the T4 (storage form) to T3 (active hormone in the cells).  
Make  sure your B12 and D vitamin levels, hemoglobin and ferritin (the storage form of iron) are at good levels. D and ferritin preferably on the upper part of the range. You should also check TPOAb levels, if not already done, it indicates if you have an autoimmune type hypothyroidism in which your own cells mistakenly attack the thyroid.  Autoimmune type usually means a risk for other autoimmune disorders as well and makes it harder to conceive as the body might attack the attaching fertilized egg as well as it does not recognise it to be normal part of female physiology.
