Balloon induction?

Has anyone successfully had a balloon induction? Reading about it I’m excited, it seems good for me as my issue last time was not dialating and that’s exactly what this will cause.booked in for 40+3 hoping he makes an appearance before then.

Are you talking about the Foley bulb? If so I had to have it used when I went into labor with my last son bc I had scar tissue on my cervix (from a leep) that needed to be snapped for me to dilate. I went in cause my water broke, they inserted the bulb and in less then an hour it came out and I was at 3cm or 4 I believe. Worked for me, and wasnt uncomfortable but I also have a high pain tolerance.

My OB did not do them, said she never had luck with them and she's been practicing 30yrs. Instead she induced me by breaking my water and that did the trick!
