Safe to Travel at 28 Weeks? Family Reunion

Hello all!
We’ve had a family reunion planned for a while on December 15th when I’ll be about 28 Weeks Pregnant. It’s about a month away and I’m starting to get really nervous about attending. We live in California and the family reunion is in Las Vegas about 5 hours away so it would be a little bit of a drive. I’m worried about there being so many kids there as well because of flu season. We would rent a hotel for the night so I would at least get to go “home” if I feel overwhelmed.
I’m nervous about the length of driving time and the risk of getting sick. 
Any advice??

I went to Niagara falls in Canada when I was 37 1/2 weeks pregnant with our second. It's about 5 to 5 1/2 hours away, depending on stops and traffic. I'd say it's fine to go.

I think you’ll be okay as long as your up to date on shots

I was around 29 weeks when we drove from Cali to Colorado. we did the drive back in one go (18hours) and I didn't have a problem

Yes our baby moon was at 28 weeks about 5 hours away. Definitely get some compression socks cause my feet would be so swollen

If you're gonna drive that far, then I highly recommend compression socks and breaks to move around and stretch your legs a bit.
The drive would be what would worry me the most really. You haven't gotten the flu shot since you're worried about that?
