Using utensils?

First time mom here! When is it reasonable to introduce utensils to little one?  My daughter is a year old. Thanks!

My son didnt have Any interest in utensils until a little after 2. I want him to have a healthy relationship with food so i didnt force it. I offered the utensils at every meal, and let it be up to him. He is 4 now and refuses to let food touch his hands and his fork has to match his plate. 
I dont even bother giving my 13 month old a fork because she would probably jam it down her throat or try to take out an eyeball. Shes an adventurous child. Lol

I give them to my son every time he eats. He is starting to try to scoop food up with them. I read article that we should start giving them once they start to eat on their own. It helps with motor skills even if they can’t seem to do it. Teaches them to start trying

My daughter uses utensils. She likes to bang them around like drum sticks 😂 I think any time is reasonable to introduce them, but they’ll decide when they’re ready to really use them.

Whenever. I’ve seen babies as young as 6 mos start with them when they start solids and I’ve seen older like 3 yr olds (don’t do that 😂). My daughter played with themand then just got it around 18 months. My 14 month old likes to try but isn’t very proficient.

Yes, unfortunately he thinks they are drumsticks and just bangs them everywhere😅
