Doesn’t call me beautiful

So I’ve been seeing this guy for about 3 months (I’ve been out of town for about a month of that though in the middle). Anyways, I know he’s not a big texter in comparison to me (he’s also in his 30s and I’m in my 20s). He’s never called me beautiful or anything like that via text (only oh that’s a good photo of you). And he doesn’t really say it in person all that often either. Am I overreacting? The guy I went out with a few times before this ALWAYS said it. Although half the time it was via text and he’d been partying/drinking, but he still always said it. Idk if I’m just comparing too much or too insecure or what. Part of me wants to say something but I don’t know how to without sounding like I’m fishing for compliments.
