Today, I was rejected from my top choice college. I am a 4.0 student which I know that doesn’t mean everything in terms of admissions but I just worked so hard every year of school so I would have the ability to go to a wide range of colleges. I’m the type of person to do homework on weekends instead of hang out with my friends so it was really disappointing when I didn’t get in despite the hard work i felt i put into my grades. Nobody expected me to get completely rejected either so it’s really heartbreaking letting everyone know that what they least expected actually occurred. I’ve cried about it several times but I’m still so upset and feel as though my hard work has had no pay off. Does anyone who’s been through this have any advice?
