Loss of libido or loss of attraction?

Question

SO and I have been together for over a year. The last few months sex just feels more like a chore than something fun to do. Could I have lost my libido or could I no longer be sexually attracted to him? I honestly don't know what's going on. I've never been like this before, I'm usually the initiator of sex. Any advice? I fear it might be a loss of sexual attraction, and I still want to be with him.

For me it was the BC specifically the pill I was on. It does that to u. It made a whole wide world of a difference when I got off of it.

Generally during the the first few months or shall I say the courting period, we always put our best foot forward. Talking hours on the phone, spending much time with each other, great sex - is all the time a thrilling moment with your partner but as months or years go by, the "over familiarity" syndrome kicks in - the person we're with becomes a stranger and yes, it's either you're losing attraction or the thrill is no longer there (seeing your partner is no longer making our hearts go thump thump and no more twinkle twinkle of the eyes). Over familiarity would also mean that your partner js seeing nothing new in you or you to him, hence, some would end up finding this something "new" thing from someone else. 
I am not saying that this is happening to your relationship. But if it is, try to do new things with him such as enganging yourselves with new activities/hobbies (you both can do it together). Aside from that try to gain new skills for yourself so that you have something new to talk to him or you can discuss this with him - both of you honing your skills or joining volutneers/clubs/activities - there's a lot.
