Implant..

So after trying many contraceptive pills I decided to try the implant.. I had heard many stories some good and some bad but wanted to try it out for myself as everyone experiences side effects differently. After only being on the implant for 3 months I couldn’t wait to get rid of it, I had the worst experience and would not recommend to anyone!

My side effects included:

• severe acne on my face, neck, chest and back

• no period for 2 months then the heaviest period for a month solid

• mood swings, where I’d go from one extreme to the other in seconds

I have recently been informed that the implant is being banned and only offered as a last resort of contraception and will only be inserted by surgeons.
