Dumped over nothing ?😔😢

I got dumped this morning because I wanted reassurance. And I can’t help but blame myself because I knew how he was, I knew that he would get mad. But at the same time I was ghosted by my ex bf of almost 3 years and this guy that I was dating, he broke up with me back in October because I “caused a lot of fights” and now he broke up with me and blocked me because I just wanted reassurance 😢😔

I don’t necessarily agree with the statement that it was over nothing. It sounds like you may need to heal from your previous relationship pain so you don’t drag that bagged into your next relationship. This guy wasn’t your ex. But you projected what your ex did onto him. It’s exhausting to be punished for what someone else did, and to constantly have to reassure someone you aren’t their ex. Thats a lot of drama most people wouldn’t be willing to continue to put up with.

Why would you want to be in a relationship where you have to be walking on eggshells? How will that ever make you happy? Maybe this is a good thing. Seems like maybe you need to work on taking care of yourself and making yourself happy before anyone else. Good luck 🍀
