Clomid or letrozole?

During a discussion with our RE, he recommended a laparoscopy to see if I have endometriosis. He can’t fit me in for surgery until Jan 2, so we said we would try an IUI while we wait. I did 3 months of Clomid unmonitored with my obgyn (he diagnosed me with pcos). My RE said I could do Clomid or letrozole. I’m leaning more towards the letrozole since I tried Clomid already. Any recommendations?

I was prescribed Letrozole because my dr said it has shown better results for women with PCOS than clomid. I took it for one cycle and just found out I’m pregnant.

Side effects from letrozole are way less than worth clomid. I've only taken letrozole once. And that was at the beginning of my IVF cycle. But i had zero side effects from it

I was diagnosed with PCOS and was prescribed letrozole and took it for 7 cycles and now I am 14 weeks pregnant. I never had any negative side affects with it

I have taken letrozole 5mgs ovulated and I’m now taking 7.5mgs. I can’t take Clomid because it is know to thin your lining and my is already thin! I get bad hot flashes and get nauseous but it’s worth it
