My boyfriend and I are almost 16 in December. We are in 10th grade and have been dating for a year. We are in a very healthy loving relationship and he is my best friend. I was just wondering if you all think we are too young to have sex

At least make sure you are on birth control before you start having sex.  Remember that if you choose the pill you have to be on it for at least one full cycle before you can be sure it  is taking effect.  That is at least one month.  Also remember that oral contraceptives do not prevent STDs.

Always use protection and keep in mind consent laws where you live. Say if he were 16 and youre 15 it could be a problem if age of consent is 16. Check it out where you live. Maturity matter too for each of you, but that's up to you
