Depleting sex drive?

First post here—- please be gentle. I’m 32 and my current SO of 7 months is 38. We started out hot and heavy. It was amazing. The last 2 months... nothing- unless I start it. He says it’s his age and his depleted sex drive blah blah blah- I’m not looking for compliments- I know he is pretty damn lucky to be with someone like me SO- is this really a thing or something else?
Full disclosure- he is a single full time father who has a full time job and house hold to run- I know he would never cheat or anything like that. Just need some guidance

Everyone goes through dry patches .. I'm with my man 12 years and we have these phases all the time .. it will pick up again just don't pressure him

This is something that is very common. I have been with my husband for almost 11 years, married almost 3. In the early years of our relationship we couldn’t keep our hands off each other. In the last couple years things have slowed down a lot and I was scared, devastated and thought something was wrong with me. I even accused him of cheating. 
Both of us have gained weight naturally after being married and it actually had more of an effect on him. He has always been rather thin and never had issues with body image. But it is a very real thing for men too! Be patient with him and my best advice is not to accuse him of being unfaithful. You are beautiful and I can almost guarantee it doesn’t have a thing to do with you or him not being attracted to you. Approach the topic very carefully and be open minded! I wish you the best🥰 as much as many people say men aren’t emotional beings they definitely are! They need to feel sexy, respected and wanted too! Maybe plan a date night or do something he likes to do! Surprise him :)

I’m not sure how long you’ve been together. But I have found there a very obvious ebbs and flows of a sexual relationship and sometimes that can be correlated to your emotional relationship or sometimes not. Especially if you’ve recently had a baby I think it’s very normal. Unfortunately we aren’t ways in sync with our loved one. And I think that’s ok. Try to talk to him if he is receptive. But yes patience is best. And maybe you two need a night together alone if you feel ready to leave bubs with someone. Even without the pressure of sex. But just to spend quality time together to reconnect. Then the intimacy might follow. The first 12-18 months of a new baby is huge ❤️
