First Time Anal?

So I’m sure there are other posts out there about this, but my boyfriend is really into the idea of trying anal. Me? Not so much. But since he’s never done it with anyone else before, I really wanna try it with him so we can have something special to share. Kinda dumb, but I also just love the guy and wanna make him happy. I’m SUPER worried about it though. Everything online says it hurts and can bleed and fuck up your bathroom experience for a week. I’m just here to ask what some of your first time anal experiences were like. How do I prepare? Do I have to bleach my asshole? Shave? Any advice or personal experience is really really appreciated!!
