Anyone find some days their baby kicks are fainter?

My midwife told me call if I ever felt reduced movement or none at all, but I’m wondering if my baby has just changed position? I am feeling movement, but it feels fainter, like the baby is further away? Anyone else get this? x

Yeah I get this like 2 times a week especially if I’m gas or constipated for some reason or if he had a super active day the day before. I did a kick count on one of those days recently and I had my 10 movements within 41 minutes. I was a bit worried but that reassured me.

Yeah, when he is  certain way they will be way lighter than when he is in a different position and I feel like I'm about to lose a rib or hes trying to bust out through my side. Hes usually quieter in the mornings and more rowdy afternoon. Took me a fee days of paying close attention to be aware of his patterns though. Maybe you could try noting it down over a few days also and see if there is pattern for yourself?

For sure some days are lighter than others. To me, hands and feet also feel different. Punches don’t pack quite the same power that kicks do!

I’ve noticed when I’m stressed out or really tired my little boy doesn’t move as much. More like light movement during those times. Also, when he was smaller he would kick really hard, and now that he’s bigger and there’s less room he doesn’t so much kick as much but just moves around a ton and will “kick” occasionally. 
I would say if there’s no movement definitely call the doc.
