Bleeding at 7 weeks? Has anyone else had this happen?

I left work on Friday and as I was getting in my car I felt something down below and looked and saw brownish watery blood running down my leg. I had a miscarriage last October and immediately started crying thinking it was happening again. I called my husband and then I called my Dr who told me to go to the ER. The ER ran some labs and did an ultrasound. We saw the embryo and heartbeat was 144 (7w1d Friday) and they sent me home saying everything looked fine and to follow up with my dr. They offered no further info. My Dr talked to me yesterday and said as long as any discharge continues to be dark in color, not painful, and not heavy like a period,  it should be fine. If it gets worse go to ER. She said it could be due to the placenta attaching, not uncommon. She advised to rest up over the weekend no further follow up needed. 
My nausea and sickness has continued,  my breasts are still tender,  and I know she said it's probably nothing and ER said it looks ok, but I'm still terrified. Has anyone else had something similar happen to them?

Yes I had the same thing but I was a lot earlier than you are. I originally thought I was 7 weeks but ovulated late & was only 4. I woke up to a ring of brown blood in my underwear like 2 days after my positive. I called an OB & they told me to come straight over. Since I was so early & didn't know it they thought it was an ectopic miscarriage because when my OB went to check my cervix she said it was still closed & we didn't see a baby on the ultrasound. She also said I had brown discharge floating around & said if this continues & you're just too early it's normal. Since it was the case of me being too early the brown blood & the brown discharge was normal I guess because I'm 21 weeks now

I had a suspected subchorionic bleed 6 weeks into my pregnancy and thought I was having a miscarriage. Same story as you--called my doc, went to the ER and was told all was probably well. It was terrifying at the time, but I'm 38 weeks now and can't wait to meet this little one :). Take heart!! All can turn out well. I'll say a prayer for you and your little one.

I had a blighted ovum for my first pregnancy (sac but no baby). I found out because I had bright red blood and went to the ER and when they did an ultrasound the couldn't find the baby or heartbeat, just an empty sac. Your situation sounds a lot different. I wouldn't stress about it.

I had something similar. I lost my first two, and with this baby, I had some light bleeding from 7-10 weeks, and then at 11 weeks I had some HEAVY bleeding that came on really fast and went away just as fast. Everything was fine and I got very little info about it

I bled twice due to bruising above the sac which either bleeds out or dissolves on it's own I also then bled at 14 weeks and they didn't know why x

Yes at 6 weeks 1 day I went to the ER for a dark red bleed. They diagnosed a subchoronic hematoma. It resolved on its own by 12 weeks! Good luck!

Yes. About a week after i announced my pregnancy (was only about four weeks pregnant, tested positive on March 30 and bled April 4th.) I was scared, it was bright red but then turned a dark brown. I didn't go to my ER or my doctor, I just went home and relaxed. Didn't bleed much after that and had my first appointment on April 29th and baby was 8 weeks 3 days and perfectly fine. I'm 24 weeks today and still going strong :)

Yes but I had gushing red blood at 7 weeks. It filled a pad and I was hysterical thinking I was having a miscarriage but thankfully it was only a subchorionic bleed and I am now 22 weeks and things are going well.

I bled at 9 weeks with my first. It was bright red blood, and a lot of it. Went to the ER and the dr was very dismissive of it. "Oh you first time moms just want to come in all the time for an ultrasound" kind of dismissive. He did an US and showed me all was fine and said bleeding is typical. Went on to have a perfect pregnancy

With my miscarriage my blood was bright red & the pain kept getting worse over 3 days. All my pregnancy symptoms disappeared which is when I knew.
