So i have gd i ate a small salad and water and tested 2 hrs later and my blood sugar was 176...i dont understand literally was mostly lettuce i ate

The trick is protein. There’s sugar in so many unsuspecting things. Make sure you’re eating enough protein to combat any sugar. Dressings are a huge sugar culprit.

What exactly was in your salad and what type of dressing did you add?

Play around and see what works best, doing grilled and a low carb low sugar dressing should change it. I always did seasoned chicken breast baked/ grilled with vinegar oil salt dressing.

It was but only ate a very small part of it next time ill do grilled

I can eat these.... But they arent good and im still hungry list of things i cant eat1. Grilled chicken wraps2.anything with bread or breading3. Chicken salad w/ little dressingIts day 3 and thanksgiving i guess ill find out more that i cant eat today

I had a chicken burrito bowl from Taco Bell yesterday and my sugar was fine but I took it an hour and a half late because I fell asleep so who knows if it was really fine or not
