Occupying your time?

Question

How are you ladies that are at home spending your time.  We've had a busy summer but school starts for our 7 year old this week so I will be home by myself and looking for ways to stay busy.  I had planned to find something part time but hubby wants me to stay home which is fine with me.  I plan to sew and crochet allot but what are you ladies doing with your time?

Well I stay in bed pretty much all day lol 😕

When I am home I tend to knock out sewing projects and crochet. Sadly though I've been so ick from the first trimester I've only sewn curtains and crocheted 6.5 rows of a blanket. I lately don't have the energy or alertness for long spurts of crafts which is underwhelming.... and I really wish I could paint some of the future baby furniture! Left to hubs it'll never get done...

Renovating our house. We have 6 months to finish our master suite, babie's room and our hallway. No pressure! 😜

I sew Civil War era ladies dresses for reenactors. I love it, cuz I can sew in my own house, then take the dresses to the shop once a week!! Yay for you, sewing is a great choice!

I work a lot but my husband works overnights. I try to occupy the quiet time at home by relaxing as much as possible. I read a lot or just veg out with Hulu or Netflix.

I ended up getting a babysitting job, she drops off and picks him up, so I never have to leave home and make a little $ :)

Ive been on forced rest since the start of preggs so I hear you. Things that have helped me not go mental.... swimming. And sewing. And reading some mummy books. And i plan on premaking a bub scrapbook so i can just slot in the photos...
