Bv? Yeast?

I had protected sex with a condom and then shortly after I started having white discharge, and was kinda itchy, not really a smell to it so I thought I had a yeast infection and did a 7 day treatment, it didn’t go away so I went to doctors they squeezed me in last minute, they had me do a swab myself where I go in bathroom and Stick the swab inside me and then put in this tube when done so they could run it as a wet prep, they told me I had bv... I’ve been taking flagyl pills since Saturday and today is Wednesday, I see no change, just discharge is the only issue I’m having, it’s white, no fishy odor, and to begin with I was surprised I had bv because I’ve had it before in past and it’s always fishy smell but I don’t have a fishy smell it’s almost like a yeasty smell, it comes out every time I pee I can smell it , what could this be? The pills last until Friday and I’m continuing them but the discharge isn’t subsiding
