Does sharing location with your husband = no trust?

Me and my husband share location with each other and have for the last 2 years. The other day I was with my friend and we were waiting on him and he wasn’t texting me back and I said “I’ll just check his location to see how far he is” and she literally was just like “ew do you not trust him or something?” So then I started asking other friends and everyone I know thinks it’s weird to have each other’s location.. they all think I don’t trust him and him with me. What do y’all think?

I share my location with my boyfriend lol. I don’t think it has anything to do with trust. he’s responsible for me if I go missing. 😂😂

no. it’s a convenience thing for us. say he was going to pick me up somewhere and was late, id like to be able to see where he is. that’s about it, it has nothing to do with trust for us

I share my location with my husband and he shares his. I check it when he’s on the way home to time dinner right so it’s ready for us when he gets home and warm. We’ve been sharing it for at least 4 years since iPhones started allowing it.

My SO rides a motorcycle and it gives me some sense of security to know he gets to his destination safely and isn’t at a hospital. Also, I have bad luck with accidents, so if I’m not where I’m supposed to be, he can check up on me lol

My husband and I share locations. Just makes it easier to know if he’s picked up dinner or at home or whatever rather than texting all day.

Depends. My husband and I have shared our location with each other when he goes out of town because some of the places he has to go are really dangerous (high crime etc) 
But if someone puts a tracker onto someone’s phone to make sure they aren’t cheating on them and to see every single place they go then yeah that’s weird and controlling

I don't do this but when I uber I share my ride with my bf bc it makes me feel safer and he can know when I'm coming home and when to expect me

My Husband and I don't share a location, we just communication and tell each other where we are and we call or text each other when we arrive at the location and call/text when were leaving the location. I trust him and do not need his location nor does he need mine

It’s always helped me out because before he would get home from work, I would check his location so I would know exactly when to have his dinner plate ready :) it always comes in handy for something. Also when we’ve lost our phones before
