My son is circumcised like his father. I let my husband make the decision and I was there for it and it was quick and my son didn't even cry or fuss.

He won’t be, no. Once you do the research, you probably won’t want to either. Watch “elephant in the hospital” and “American Circumcision.” Watch a few videos of the procedure. Learn the true function of foreskin. It’s not right to take that away from your son without his consent. Once i learned more, I wished that my husband wasn’t circumcised. It’s there for a reason, it’s not a “defect.” Your whole baby dot .org has a ton of resources too. Just educate yourself, that way you don’t end up regretting it.

Honestly I did circumcise my boys and I’ll be completely honest I did it because I was young, uneducated, and I thought that was what you needed to do for boys. As I got older and educated myself much more I regret it

I have never encountered an adult male who was uncircumcised. With that being said, it’s becoming more common for babies to not be. Both my boys are & this one will be. I asked my husband what he thought, because I don’t have a penis. He didn’t even question it, he wants him circumcised.

Our son arrives in March and will be. I asked my husbands opinion and he agreed that it will be done. That’s our personal preference in our families even our circles all males have it done. I’m very okay sigh that

I haven’t had him yet but with research and what not, even though there’s no medical reason to do it there is psychological reasons behind doing or not doing it. They say to have it align with what the dad has. It gets pretty deep.

We did because my husband is and that’s what he wanted. The doctor was actually in the room across the hall from my hospital room when they did it and he cried for maybe 30 seconds. Never cried during diaper changes, and was completely healed after 2 weeks.

Not really baby related but my best friend only realised he was circumsized when he was about 19-20 and kinda resented his mum for making that kind of decision for him... It's for that reason only that if my baby is a boy I won't be getting it done..

My oldest son is. I had it done when he was 3 weeks old. 20 years ago. I'm 33 weeks with a boy now and we plan to have him circumcised at the hospital. My SO made the call. We decided and there is no shame in it. I have been harassed by others for having this opinion lately but our minds are made up. Nobody had a problem with it a few years ago, and SO feels strongly about it.
