How does a cup work?

I dont like tampons anymore cause i barely bleed enough and i'm pretty sure i'm not the only person who hates pulling out a dry tampon 🙃 can someone tell me how i'm supposed to know what size to get and how hard it is to put it in/take it out? and what is a good brand of cup?

I use the blossom cup and love it. Most brands have size 1 (or small) and size 2 (a little larger). Size 1 is usually meant for women that have not given vaginal birth and size 2 is usually for the women that have. There are a few different ways fold it to put it in, something a simple google search could find for you. It helps to wet it a little with water to put it in, but you can put it in without. To pull it out, you just gently pinch the end and pull out. Just make sure you don’t leave it in for longer than 12 hours. It IS possible to get TSS from a cup, although less likely.

I don’t know much about them but I think there’s like one or two sizes. Sometimes you need to trim the “stem” but basically you fold it up and stuff yourself like a turkey and then let go and kind of wiggle it around to “seal it” and then let it be. Like a tampon you shouldn’t feel it, if you do then it’s in wrong. And to pull it out you’ll need to poke around and try to unseal it from your vaginal walls, be careful cause spills can happen and you don’t want to hurt yourself by yanking it out. Once you get it down you’ll love it I’m sure. Many of my friends love theirs
