Experienced moms help me please!

Nicole

You'd think working with 3year olds for almost a year now i would know how to handle my son's tantrums. But I'm beginning to find that a 2year old tantrum is completely different from a 3year old's tantrum.

Don't get me wrong, my son is a really good kid. But just like his parents when he feels emotions he feels them super strongly. I've done well with helping him handle his sadness and I'm there to smile and laugh with him when he's happy. But as for anger, I'm at a loss. I try explaining things out at his level to help him understand and when things reach a bad level I've tried calm down activities, just hugging him till he calms down, time outs, etc pretty much everything.

When this boy is angry he will hit, kick, bite, scream, scratch, throw things, pretty much the whole nine. So experienced moms please help me! What's the best way to help him learn to control his anger? When do you draw the line between helping him and discipline? And what's the best way to draw that line?

Here's a pic of my son just to prove how sweet he normally is 😂😂
