Have you gotten a tattoo while breastfeeding? I know it runs a risk of infection but how likely is it to occur if you go to a super clean shop? My baby is ebf and will be 4 months when I plan to get my tattoo.

My friend who’s a tattoo artist said it goes against Blood Born Pathogen testing. That’s why they wont do it, I wouldn’t I to any shop that would.

My husband is a tattoo artist. He has tattooed many people whom breastfed their babies everything has been fine from the 12 clients that he has done. He has even had appointments where the baby was present and had to break so the mother could feed their babies.
