Afterpay??? Thoughts on it?

Hey mamas, I was thinking of buying some baby stuff but using Afterpay to pay for it....has anyone ever used it? It kind of sounds too good to be true, is there a catch?

I use it for my dog food, you can pay it off early if you like as well.

The catch is: be prepared for the regular payments. I bought all my maternity clothes in one big transaction from The Iconic and put it all on afterpay, which was a big help as I actually had some decent clothes to wear!
There’s no additional fees unless you miss a payment, then you pay a late fee.
They email you 4 days before and sms you one day before a payment is due so you get heaps of reminders.
I personally like it for those bigger purchases or if something comes up I wasn’t planning on purchasing but I decide I can’t pass up.
I think a lot of people get caught though, if you have too many transactions at the same time I’d get a bit lost with all the payments. I have a rule, only one afterpay transaction at a time so I don’t over extend myself.
