What should I do? Need advice

My husband and I have always known we wanted kids. I’m 24, he’s 27. We have been married 2 years, financially stable, have good jobs, and have been together 10 years. He has been ready for kids for about a year now and I have been on the fence. I just ended my period and can’t help but think what if we stopped using protection and just “not try” but see what happens. We talked about starting to try next year sometime but lately I have had baby fever. Has anyone else ever been confused on if they are ready or not? I work with babies and feel kind of ready but I guess I’m just scared. I need someone to talk over this with!

My husband and I's first child was a surprise. I was on BC and never thought it could be possible. But it did and I didnt have the chance to think about if we were ready or not. But I was still scared for a good while and had my doubts still. But trying to decide if we should have another was definitely hard. I knew I wanted another one but like you I was confused. So I think anytime you really have to think about it it's scary and can set you back a little. I also worked with kids and let me tell you, its completely different. But in the best way possible. We are now just going by if it happens it happens. And its honestly been the best yet stressful feeling ever.

I've had baby fever for like 3 years now, but I wasn't ready. Ofc, I'd say just go for it!
