ttc while bf/pumping

Last year we finally did IUI after 3 long years of no success on our own. my husband has a very low sperm count but everything with me was normal. our IUI was a success and we are qanting to do it again soon bc we dont want to waste anymore years. my baby is 5mo old and I am exclusively pumping. my period returned at 3mo pp but nothing since. I know breastfeeding may be the reason why my cycle is off. before this pregnancy my cycle was regular. does anyone have experience with pumping and IUI? would I need to stop bf/pumping in order get my cycle back for IUI? or since its male factor infertility, could it still possibly be done either way?
