Period like cramps?

I’ve had what feels like menstrual cramps all night, when I wake up they’re still there. Anyone else dealing with this? I’m 36 weeks and 4 days.

Yes yes yes. For me, my doctor said it’s my uterus being irritable and to chug chug water to help calm it.

Last night I had dull cramps from about 12-5am. They weren’t in an pattern or anything so probably just body prepping for when I eventually go into labor. Ive also heard people will lose their plug after some cramping like that. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I've had similar cramps 3-4 times a week for the last couple of weeks! I'm 35+6 weeks now. Nothing I can time though. Sometimes the cramps come with lower backpain. My Braxton Hicks have felt different until now so I'm not sure if it is BH or really really mild actual contractions / softening of the cervix. 😅

I’m 38&6 and have had them all day yesterday and now all night (I also can’t sleep!) I had been having very mild ones every once in a while for a couple weeks, nothing that I could time or track. I’m thinking these are Braxton Hicks? Maybe partly real contractions because I’m dilated to a 3.
