Lost the baby

Well I went for my first US today I am 8 weeks 3 days. The baby only measured 6 weeks 4 days with no heartbeat. I was sent to get my HCG levels tested and will go back again on Friday to see if they are doubling. Then next week I am supposed to get another US. Doesn’t make sense to do all that... baby is measuring so far behind and with no heartbeat. I feel like it’s just being drawn out now which is hurting me even more.

Praying that we will have our rainbow soon. My husband and I are completely heartbroken.
