Someone tell me what this means ?

Had the early blood test done to check for any deformities and my test results said this “This specimen showed an expected representation of chromosome 21, 18, and 13 material. Clinical correlation is suggested”. When I googled it it said something about Down syndrome. Can someone please tell me exactly what that means ? Thank you !

Trisomy 21 is the third addition to that Chrom which causes DS. To my guess, because it says “expected representation” that there’s only the normal 2 of each. I think it of were something serious it would say unexpected or abnormal. I’m not a dr, and you should def ask your doc for further explanation, but that’s my guess.
