How did you announce your pregnancy!?

I will be announcing Christmas day so I want some ideas. Can you ladies share how you announced? Pictures are welcomed too!!!
Long story short I'm 8 weeks 4 days. Earlier this year we got prgnant after a year and a half of trying so we announced early and shortly after I miscarried. So now we are waiting until I'm 3 months which happens to be December 23rd.

Well I announced the gender of the baby with an ornament. 
We put blue sand in a clear ornament and put a mini ultrasound picture in it of the baby super glued the top and put it in a little box. 
So maybe do something like that?? Or a mug that says soon to be grandparents or whatever.

We announced our first on Christmas as well! What we did was find bibs that said I love my grandma for my husbands mom, a bib for his dad that said I love my grandpa, and for my mom a sign that said grandmas have silver in their hair and gold in their hearts. 
We wrapped them and when the gift giving was done at each house I asked my husband in a confused voice, "didn't we have one more? Where is that?" He then "found" the gift behind the tree and had the person unwrap it. It was so much fun to see the light bulb click on! 
For our second we bought a Big Brother shirt and waited for people to notice when we went visiting. It was almost more fun as at times it took an hour or more before they read the shirt. Each time they were like what is this? Is this real!? Lots of fun!
