HOW LATE IS TOO LATE TO HAVE A BABY SHOWER???

First of all, I'm so so thankful for my sister to throw baby and me a shower, however... I'm nervous the timing is too late... I will be 35-37 weeks prego. Should I say something?? I don't want to be rude but what to do?!?

When the baby is 6 months old...I'd say that's too late. You may be uncomfortable at your shower, but you can have it whenever.

It's never too late as long as you and baby are up for it...most babies don't come till at least 37 weeks...I'd say go for it!

I'm having mine at 34 weeks. I would try to have it at 35 weeks just for your sanity. Depending on what you requested/what people bought you may need to exchange things and make purchases. I wouldn't want to be 38 weeks pregnant and having to go buy a mattress or something. Worst case scenario you can always send your spouse or family member to do those things for you and recruit them to help you finish up the nursery and wash the baby's things if your shower is later.

I will be having my baby shower at 34+5.. I think you'll be fine :) Just make sure its inside so the heat doesnt get to you and dont let it go on for too long; mine will only be 2 hours or so. Dress comfy and try to enjoy yourself!
