Pain after ovulation...anyone else?

Melissa

I have been seen by a couple doctors, mri, laparoscopic surgery...and all they have come up with is that it’s ovulation pain. The SEVERE pain is always on the right side, even when I know from ultrasound that I ovulated on the left. The pain comes 2/3 days AFTER ovulation (confirmed from temp or use of trigger). The pain comes on almost like contractions, last 10 minutes, then goes away....only to come back few hours later. It’s so severe, I’m curled up in ball, crying, with a heating pad, till it passes. Pain meds, over the counter and prescription do not help. The pain last in total usually 3 days.

Anyone have anything like this?? I know it’s hurting my chances of getting pregnant. All 3 (2miscarriages) of my pregnancies happened fairly easy (after I started ovulating with meds). Now it’s been over 3 years since my last miscarriage and the pain only gets worse each month.

Anyone share an experience like this? It’s absolutely driving me crazy...and i feel like I’m wasting so much energy each month, bc no matter what we do or try...the pain comes back! Of course the fertility clinic was just pushing IVF, but 20k plus is just too much money for us.
