Chest area is too large and will be tightened and pulled up.

If you want the dress poofier than do it, I personally would prefer a more float dress for a beach wedding, I think it’s more appropriate for the theme and could move with the breeze a bit better. It’s your wedding and your dress. Do what you like 😁

I love petticoats but wonder if it will become allot of dress to walk in for a beach wedding.  Are you able to do do a test?  Perhaps try on your dress with the petticoat to see how you feel?
