Piercing affect breastfeeding?

Hi, I had one of my nipples pierced before I got pregnant and took out the ring once I found out I was pregnant to start the healing process. Has anyone been in a similar situation and did it affect your success to breastfeed?

My aunt didn’t take hers out until she had her son and she had issues breast feeding . So i took both of mine out at 18 weeks and mine are basically healed up . If yours healed up then you shouldn’t have a problem

I had one nipple pierced and it does not affect breastfeeding whatsoever, I did have more leakage from the hole in the early days though.
