Just when I thought I wasn’t ever going to ovulate!

CD19 and FINALLY got a positive opk! I did not ovulate last month, and I was beginning to think something was wrong down there 😔 Yesterday, I took some deep breaths and told myself that if it happened, it happened— I can not help what I have no power over. I felt much more relaxed and didn’t even test last night (I’ve been obsessively testing 4x a day, so that really took a lot of letting go to do). This afternoon, I decided I would just take only one test today. I dipped the stick and in about twenty seconds (yes, it was truly that dark!), that positive was shining through! My husband happened to walk into the bathroom at that moment, looked at the test, and nearly jumped on top of me😊 Hoping for our first wee one soon— my 92 year old grandfather (who is like my dad— he walked me down the aisle and everything!), has started to really decline mentally & physically, and I want nothing more than to tell him that the baby will either have his or my grandmothers name. My husband and I live 5,000 miles away from family (husband is military), and we are heading home for Christmas. It would be the most amazing Christmas gift ever to be able to tell him that news❤️
