Will future generations

Question

Stop believing in "god" eventually. Since technology and science have come so far? We've stopped smoking almost completely! Who's to say we can't stop this

You really believe smoking and religion are remotely comparable?  You hate religion so much you compare it to an addictive cancer causing stick?

I am a JW. I have noticed something in that past couple of years in my ministry. The people that want to talk at the doors are usually about 20. I used to mostly have people interested in God who were like 35+.. Late teens early 20's always used to tell me that they took the science approach. Now that has changed and the strong majority say they believe there is a higher power and that they want to figure it out.

It actually seems to be a slight reversal of what your theory is..

Also if you travel around the world you will see intensely strong religious beliefs in different cultures.

I don't think that a belief in any deities will stop, however I do feel that eventually science will disprove the existence of deities. May not be any time soon, but I feel eventually we'll be able to do so. 
Unless of course we kill our planet before we can really do anything.

God is now and forever I don't see why people have to choose God is in your heart science is something you study and learn both are wonderful but touch different places. I also don't think science is a belief. God you feel in your heart there is no way to describe it.

I don't think that will happen. Aside from whether I believe in God or not (I do) the reality is that science is not the appropriate tool here. 
Science is based on a philosophy that focuses on the natural laws only. The value of applying this philosophy to something as simple as non-natural law human factors (such as how we learn) has already been called into question. Science is appropriate to exam brain function certainly but why we think certain things is something that it struggles to address because it is unsuitable for testing or hypothesising about anything that transcends natural laws. 
Philosophy was always considered the science of sciences until recent modern history where it has been dismissed by the general population. People now seem to think that science is the testing method for all things but it is only suitable for natural laws. It is within wider philosophies that discussions about God belong. Philosophy is the appropriate investigative tool.

It wasn't the specifics of smoking. It was that future generations are either smarter. Or are just starting to care less and are just living their lives
