How many blankets do you let your almost 1 year old sleep with?!

Our daughter has slept with 1 for a while now. She’s almost one and now it’s getting so cold at night. We build a fire and make sure her room is warm before bed and she’s layered but it’s still so cold in there

My kids sleep with just one they are 5 and 2.5. My house doesn’t have heat so we bundle them up and use our heater in their room to keep it warm. She almost one I don’t see an issue if you use 2

None. I place our little one in a sleep sack and if he wears long sleeve pajamas and pants. If it’s gonna be a cold night I put a short sleeve onesie under that. My little one moves so much at night I can’t imagine him lasting 2 minutes under a blanket!

He sleeps with like 3, 2 to cover up since he loves sleeping in just his diaper and 1 fluffy one that he feels on when trying to fall asleep.

I used 1 when kids were 1 then gave them two when they turned 3! You can probably give her two! I still freak out when my sons have blankets on their face even tho they will be 4 next month!

I just started letting my son sleep with 1 lightweight throw blanket and he’s 18 months. I was a little paranoid 😂😂 but I feel like he could’ve started using one before then.

My daughter is 4 months and she has slept with a blanket since she was born. We don’t use the furnace in our house just a wood stove. It heats really well but I sleep with the door closed and use a space heater in the room. I still put blankets on her if I think she is cold. Usually just one but if I’m really cold I’ll throw the second one on her.
