Should I have a separate diaper bag for baby or put his stuff and mines all in one hospital bag?

I’m 37 weeks along, and my due date is Christmas Day. But I think this boy is going to come much earlier than that, so I’m trying to prepare myself as much as I can. I’m not sure if me and the baby should share a hospital bag or should i have his diaper bag already packed and ready and just have a separate bag with my things.🤷🏾‍♀️ first time mom so all of this is new to me.

I’d just put everything together but in separate compartments so that it’s easier to grab what you need

Honestly it really doesn’t matter. But if you’re an organization freak like me then you’ll want two bags lol

I like separating things, and being very organized and prepared. I am a MAJOR planner, I think it may help me keep my anxiety about stuff lower. This is my Hospital bag list!

I'm putting all of our clothes and toiletries (Shampoo, conditioner, breast pads,etc) with everything for baby girl. 
Then a seperate bag for blankets, pillows, snacks and entertainment. We'll be there AT LEAST 1-2 nights so I want to be comfortable.

I have a backpack with everything in it. Baby has his clothes in one compartment everything else my stuff is in there.

We had the diaper bag and then a bag for me and my SO. I didn't really bring much and he went home the second night with our oldest.

We packed separate. I did the same with my first, it was just easier for organizations sake. My husband and I shared our bag though.
