Tough choice
I’m 31 yrs old and just found out my AMH is .72 . My doc was kinda pushing IVF so that I can save as many eggs as possible ASAP. He said he didn’t even want me to wait 6 months. I also found out in April that I have severe endometriosis. Then found out my thyroid is all messed up as well. Also, I have been going through 6 months of biopsy’s and procedures for a totally unrelated cervical dysplasia.
It’s been a rough year.
So 1: I don’t think mentally I can handle any more right now
2: I feel like we haven’t even had a chance to try naturally. The first year and a half was pre endometriosis surgery and pre thyroid pills. So there is no way I would have gotten pregnant anyway. Now post-op we haven’t been allowed to try for 6 months until this cervix stuff is sorted out.
I’m just scared if I wait a year then its going to be too late. It pisses me off because this whole time every doctor has been saying, “oh don’t worry, you are so young, you have so much time.” Turns out I don’t! I’m so frustrated ☹️ Is waiting a year a big deal?
