Did your toddler go through a biting stage?

My toddler is 28 months old. She has started biting occasionally but I tell her that it's not nice and she shouldn't bite. Any tips to stop it/prevent it would be highly appreciated.

I can only advise what to do if your the one being bit, as for dealing with other sibling or other kids I’m not sure. When my daughter would go to bite out of anger I would always catch it before she clamped down and literally push her away (just enough to get her to react and for me to get out of reach) but had not other strong reactions and I mean non not even a look on my face. Instead I would take her straight to time out and tell her that is never ok. I tend to tell her things as we instead of just her eg: “we don’t bite” so she knows I hold my self to that same standard. I leave her to sit for her 2 min and when it’s over there is a quick explanation of other was to express anger such as a stomp or trying to use words. Then I ask if she can say sorry for trying to hurt me because biting hurts and trying to hurt people is not ok. We got over it pretty quickly because she realized it’s and really fast way to get in trouble and there was never an exception!

When you find one let me know 🤦🏼‍♀️ my sons in this phase, he thinks it’s “funny”. He either chases me and bites my legs or when he’s mad he tires to bite me, the worst was yesterday when he walked up and bit his 3 month old sister.
