So I'm a doctor. A psychologist specifically. I've ALWAYS worked directly with clients, whether it be developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance abuse, traumatic brain injuries, autism, you name it. 
An opportunity arose at a hospital where I work with residents, helping them with communication skills etc with patients and their families. It's soo not what I went to school for, but the money is ridiculous and it's close to home. I'm looking for reasons to love it, mostly because I can't afford to leave it 😂

I’m a meteorologist by training and I currently work for a company that does wind and solar power forecasts for renewable energy farms. My job specifically is comparing our forecasts to the actual generation to judge our accuracy.

I’m currently a legal assistant…AKA corporate lackey. It’s my first job out of college and I’m undervalued and not gaining any experience. I’m hoping to get out of here soon and into law school or another position at a different firm where I’m actually appreciated & people can pronounce my name. This work environment is just hindering my growth and mood, etc. but I have responsibilities so this is it for right now.

I'm an admin assistant in employment services for the state. It's not at all my dream job. Although my job duties are evolving more toward contracts, policy, and grant writing, which is interesting and actually makes some use of my research and writing skills, it's still not anything I'm in love with. 
I'm a trained historian and if I could do anything at all, I would work at the Louvre or the Metropolitan Museum of Art researching the history of artists and the provenance of art pieces. Also, if art was stolen, I would love to be part of investigating something like that. It would be so fascinating! Or, going in a completely different direction, I would open a bakery. I love baking. It's very calming to me.

I’m currently a medical aesthetician. I love my role but I hate the industry. Especially as I work in a private clinic. 
I am studying to stay in the medical field but to become a scientist, rather than a practitioner. I won’t have to deal with patients directly and I am involved in research behind treatments, rather than carrying them out.
