Spotting at 6 weeks?

Hi everyone. I’m currently 6 weeks and 1 day along with my first child. I have my first ultrasound scheduled for next Friday and I had a chemical miscarriage back in September. Today I’ve had some light cramping (mostly felt like gas) and I’ve just wiped after peeing and there was a small amount of spotting. Light brown and a string. Sorry for the TMI, just wondering if this is normal or if I should be worried? Any information is greatly appreciated.
