Hi ladies. FTM. My OB told me today he would like to strip my membranes at 39 weeks. It seems like he’s concerned the baby is small because I’m small, but the growth ultrasound at 34 showed him at the 63rd percentile. He seemed content with that. So I’m not sure if it’s just him that wants to do this or if it’s something they routinely will do. I would much rather have this than a medicated induction, so I didn’t fight much on it, but I want to hear what you have to say. Also would love to hear experiences. Thanks !
